Start your Texas wine trail excursion by stopping by Messina Hof Winery, located inside the replica Wallis Hotel. Along with great wine, guests enjoy the unique interior design and discussing the award-winning wines with the knowledgeable staff. The wine bar is open until 10 p.m., and its light bite menu gives recommendations for the perfect wine to marry with your meal. After your visit, head to the nearby Grape Vine Springs Winery to enjoy another glass.
And if you're feeling particularly adventuresome on a Friday night, sign up for the Night Watch Ghost Tour, a 90-minute haunted trek through Historic Downtown Grapevine. When the guide takes you back to Grape Vine Springs Winery, a free glass of wine will be waiting for you to ease your nerves from ghostly encounters.
Start your day in Historic Downtown Grapevine and enjoy lunch at one of the many great kitchens Harvest Hall has to offer. With seven different kitchens to choose from, you are sure to find something for everyone. Or dive into one of the many share-worthy dishes at Piaf, where you'll find flavors that are inspired by Mediterranean and European dishes.
After exploring Downtown, head to Bingham Family Vineyards. This family-owned and operated winery is often called one of the best Texas wineries in the region. The tasting room is open until at 8 p.m., so you can enjoy wine and lounge comfortably for as long as you want. Before dinner, head over to the Grapevine Botanical Gardens for a nice walk around the grounds. The gardens are picture-perfect no matter the season!

On Sunday, three remaining wineries await. Get your day going with a relaxing Sunday morning stop at Cross Timbers Winery on Main Street. Visitors can enjoy a glass of Viognier and complimentary cheese while admiring the historic barn and cottage. As you head back down Main Street, be sure to pop into the many boutiques and shops in the Historic District. There are so many unique goods and fashionable clothing items to be found!
A perfect way to end your Grapevine Urban Wine Trail experience is to indulge yourself with some wine-flavored ice cream at Sloan & Williams Winery.
Guests can sample Cherry Merlot and White Peach Zinfandel ice cream and can accompany their sweet treats with full-bodied glasses of their favorite varietals as well.
