Location: Grapevine Botanical Gardens at Heritage Park (411 Ball St.)

The 28th Annual Butterfly Flutterby sponsored by 121 Community Church will celebrate Monarch butterflies and their migration from Canada to Mexico by way of Grapevine. Bring the entire family, even your pets, to celebrate at this FREE event. There will be a costume contest, live butterfly releases, an arts & crafts station, Transition to Beauty Butterfly Sculpture and other butterfly photo ops, butterfly merch and snacks available for purchase. Tie-dye t-shirt fee is $2. (NOTE: There is a limited amount of t-shirts available to be tie-dyed)

ACTIVITIES:

Tie-dye t-shirt fee is $2
Mayoral Monarch Pledge at 10:45 a.m.
Live butterfly releases at 11 a.m., 11:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. (All four releases are at the Botanical Gardens)
Open the butterfly cage at 1:40 a.m.
Art Contest awards at 12 p.m.

COSTUME CONTEST:

Registration begins at 9:15 a.m. at the Grapevine Botanical Gardens, 411 Ball Street.
The costume contest begins at 10:10 a.m.
Costume Contest awards at 11:15 a.m.
