Grapevine Art Walk

Grapevine October Art Walk, 6 – 9 pm, Sat.,Oct. 18, 2008

Downtown Grapevine galleries, stores, restaurants and wine-tasting rooms that exhibit and sell art have been invited by the Grapevine Art Project (GAP) to focus on and showcase their art for show and sale Saturday, October 18, 2008, from 6 to 9 pm.

Each participating art location will be clearly marked by a balloon bouquet at its main entrance and collectively invite the art-loving public to visit and view artistic offerings and special events planned for the evening such as artists in house demonstrating their talents, exhibiting artists personally in attendance to promote their work and other enticements. Additionally, each location will provide a free handout that features a map to other participating locations.

The event is free to the public and it also functions as a membership drive for the Grapevine Art Project. In each participating location, a GAP representative will be available to explain the GAP’s mission, its artistic programs and plans, plus offer an opportunity for membership registration.
